JUNGBUNZLAUER

The important role of Jungbunzlauer

Without the significant contribution of Jungbunzlauer, owned by the Kahane Family, we would not be able to do our work. Jungbunzlauer continues to hold its place as one of the world’s leading producers of biodegradable key ingredients of natural origin. Today, the company employs around 1400 people globally with four manufacturing plants and numerous sales offices all over the world.
Since 1991, Jungbunzlauer has donated over 42 million CHF to the Kahane Foundation through continuous contributions.

Project funding through Jungbunzlauer

Each year, employees of Jungbunzlauer have the opportunity to nominate projects in the Jungbunzlauer communities. After a company-wide selection process, a number of these projects are subsequently submitted to our board and considered for funding from the Karl Kahane Foundation. Given the main locations of Jungbunzlauer, some of these projects take place outside of the foundation’s geographic focus areas. Projects coming through Jungbunzlauer are therefore exceptions to the KArl Kahane Foundation’s general rule of only funding projects in our regions of focus. We are proud to be able to contribute to the communities in which Jungbunzlauer operates in this way and are grateful to the Jungbunzlauer staff, without whom our work would not be possible.
